About the Project
Preparing Technicians for the Future of Work To enable the ATE Community to collaborate regionally with industry partners, within and across disciplines, on the transformation of associate degree programs to prepare US technicians for the work of the future.
There are four overarching goals that guide the objectives, activities outcomes and responsibilities of the project.
GOAL 1
An ATE community enabled to refine technician education to address the changing nature of work.
GOAL 2
ATE community collaborations with industry to integrate the Future of Work influence into technician education.
GOAL 3
ATE Regional Networks (Centers, Projects, Industry, and Related Stakeholders) focused on the Future of Work and its implications for technician education.
GOAL 4
Foster adoption of the cross-disciplinary STEM core to maximize impact on technician education
